#9 - Heading to Multiple Generations
In this Quick Win, the employment of older workers and current trends in recruitment were discussed. It was found that young people prefer dynamic and non-bureaucratic companies, and interest in corporations is declining. Employing older workers brings benefits such as experience, loyalty and the ability to cope better with economic fluctuations. Cooperation between young and older employees can bring innovation and mutual inspiration. It was recommended that companies do not limit the selection of employees by age criteria and open up to greater diversity. The use of modern forms of work, such as home office and flexible working hours, which attract young and older generations, was also emphasized.
